Stud type track rollers — Roller bearings with roller stud
Features of these series
The KR, NUKR and PWKR series basically have the same outside dimensions, but nevertheless differ from each other by their inside design. The thick-walled outer ring with a high radial load carrying capacity usually rolls at a flat surface, a curve or a counter roller and has got mostly the spherical design in order to compensate skewing towards the raceway. The three series are also respectively available with an eccentric collar (additional specification E) for an optimal geometrical locking between the stud type track roller and the mating surface.
Material description of stud type track rollers
- Withstand extremely high load-ratings and are suitable for temperatures from circa -10°C up to +120°C, in case of rubber seals up to +100°C in the long run. The steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
Versions of stud type track rollers
- Suitable for high radial loads as well as for slight axial loads caused by misalignments or skewed running. Available as caged version KR (for higher speeds) and full complement needle roller set KRV (for higher loads) as well as three-stage seal (suffix PP) respectively.
- Suitable for high radial as well as relatively high and also permanent axial loads resulting from misalignments and skewed running. Available either with lip seal on both sides (PWKR) and labyrinth seals (NUKR).
