- Hybrid spindle bearings of the series HCB70-E have ceramic balls as rolling elements. This has an advantageous effect on wear, in addition, hybrid spindle bearings withstand higher speeds and temperatures, are lighter and have a current-insulating effect compared to spindle bearings with rolling elements made of steel. Hybrid spindle bearings of the series HCB70-E are wider than hybrid spindle bearings of the series HCB719 at the same inner diameter and are suitable for higher load capacities. They can support high radial loads and axial loads from one direction. If two spindle bearings are installed in X or O arrangement, axial loads can be absorbed from both directions. Due to its load angle of 25 °, the design E is even better suited for axial loads than spindle bearings of design C.
