- Main dimensions according to DIN 625-1. High precision hybrid bearings of this series 6 have low-wear, power isolating ceramic balls, which withstand extremely high rotational speed. They are comparatively small und have an inner diameter of 2 to 9 millimeters. Therefore, they are suitable for relatively thin shafts and axis as well as for appropriate small space requirements. In the ratio of high precision hybrid miniature ball bearings to its low size, they can take up relatively high loads. They are available with rings made of stainless steel. High precision hybrid miniature ball bearings are manufactured to tighter tolerances and are characterized by increased running smoothness.
- Rubber seals (RS/2RS) have the optimum sealing action with increased friction. Metal seals (Z/ZZ) are suitable for higher speeds, but they have a limited sealing action as they seal contactless. Open, seal-less bearings are suitable for extremely high speeds and - furthermore - they can be regreased more easily. However, they are more susceptible to soiling. | more
