Track rollers — stability in all positions
Features of these series
The thick-walled outer ring with spherical or cylindrical outside surface profile (suffix X) usually rolls at a flat surface, a curve or a counter roller. The spherical design compensates slight skewing towards the raceway. Yoke type track rollers are similar to deep groove ball bearings or angular ball bearings regarding their structure, have a high radial load carrying capacity and also support axial forces in both directions.
Material description of track rollers
- Withstand extremely high load-ratings and are suitable for temperatures from circa -10°C up to +120°C, in case of rubber seals up to +100°C in the long run. The steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
Versions of yoke type track rollers
- are similar to single row deep groove ball bearings and make possible higher speeds than double row yoke type track rollers. They are equipped with lip seals on both sides (2RS).
- are similar to double row angular ball bearings, are thus broader and have a higher load carrying capacity. They are either equipped with gap seals (ZZ) or lip seals (2RS) on both sides.
- are similar to double row angular contact ball bearings, are thus broader and have a higher load carrying capacity. Are mostly used together with a shaft, a circular or an angular mating track. They are either equipped with gap seals (ZZ) or lip seals (2RS) on both sides.
