Track roller — Rolling bearings for special applications

Track rollers are rolling bearings that can be used in special designs and applications. They can be mounted on axles, at the same time the outer ring can roll on a counter roll, curve or plane. The thick-walled, usually crowned outer ring is suitable for high radial loads and can compensate misalignments with respect to the raceway.

Needle roller bearings are supplied with or without an inner ring. Needle roller bearings without an inner ring run directly on the shaft, which can save space. For this, there are higher requirements for the quality of shaft (surface, hardness).
