Spindle bearings / precision angular contact ball bearings — For the highest demands

Spindle bearings / precision angular contact ball bearings are optimized for extremely accurate, low-vibration and quiet operation. They withstand high radial forces and axial forces from one direction. For axial forces from both sides they can be installed in pairs.

Features of this design

Spindle bearing
Main dimensions according to DIN 628-1 (at least according to ISO-tolerance class 4). Precision angular ball bearings are usable with high radial loads as well as axial loads in one direction. Axial loads in both directions are also possible in case of installation in pairs in X or O-arrangement. Available with a load angle of 15° (for higher radial loads) or 25° (for higher axial loads). The bearings are not separable.

Material description of spindle bearings

Spindle bearings made of rolling bearing steel
withstand very high loads. The bearing steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
Hybrid spindle bearings with ceramic balls and rings made of rolling bearing steel
wear less compared to similar sized bearings with steel balls. The ceramic balls have a current-insulating effect and are lighter than steel balls of the same size, so these bearings can withstand higher speeds than pure steel bearings. The rings are magnetic.
