Rod ends requiring maintenance — robust, movable bearing units

Rod ends consist of a rod head and a spherical plain bearing. In the case of maintenance-requiring rod ends, the spherical plain bearing consists of the material combination steel/steel or steel/bronze. Regular maintenance and relubrication is therefore essential. They can withstand high static loads, high alternating loads and shock loads.

Versions of rod ends

With external thread (SA..E/ES, TSM)
With right-hand thread.
With internal thread (SI..E/ES, TSF)
With right-hand thread.
With circular welding end (T.A.C.)
With centering pin.
With rectangular welding end (T.P.N.)

Material description of the rod ends

Rod ends with a sliding contact surface combination steel/steel — requiring maintenance
Suitable for swivelling, tilting and rotational movements, heavy static loads, heavy alternating loads and shock loads. Need a regular maintenance and relubrication.
Rod ends with a sliding contact surface combination steel/bronze — requiring maintenance
Suitable for swiveling, tilting and rotational, heavy static loads, heavy alternating loads and shock loads. Have better emergency running characteristics compared to steel/steel sliding contact surface combinations. Need a regular maintenance and relubrication.
