Drawn cup roller clutches series HF/HFL

Special feature of this series
The drawn cup roller clutches HF and HFL are one-way clutches. They consist of a thin-walled outer ring with clamping ramps, a plastic cage, individual steel pressure springs and needle rollers. The individually spring-loaded needle rollers provide constant contact between the shaft, needle rollers and clamping surface, which results in very precise indexing. The freewheels are radially space-saving and can be installed in tight spaces. They enable high indexing frequencies and can be used in many different ways, e.g. as indexing indexing clutches, back-stopping clutches and overrunning clutches. They transmit torque in one direction and are available without bearing (HF) or with integrated bearing (HFL). The requirement for torque transmission is installation in a rigid housing. HF freewheels are without bearing arrangement and only transmit torque. They must be supplemented by an additional roller bearing. HFL-Freewheels have an integrated bearing and can support both torque and radial forces.
