Axial deep groove ball bearings — for loads in the shaft direction

Axial deep groove ball bearings are designed to withstand heavy loads in the direction of the shaft. Depending on the bearing design, the load can occur from one or both sides. Axial ball bearings are fundamentally different in design than radial bearings, consist of ball rings, housing washers, shaft washers and can be dismantled.

Features of this series

Main dimensions according to DIN 711. Thrust bearings are designed for great axial loads, but mustn´t be subjected to radial loads. They consist of ball-cage assemblies, shaft locating washers and flat housing locating washers.

Single direction
Usable in case of great axial loads in one direction
Double direction
Usable in case of great axial loads in both directions

Material description of thrust bearings

Thrust bearings made of rolling bearing steel
are cost-effective and can withstand very high loads. The bearing steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
Thrust bearings made of stainless steel
are hygienic, corrosion-resistant, magnetic and can withstand high loads.
