Angular contact ball bearings — Combination for radial and axial forces

Due to their design, angular contact ball bearings can absorb even higher axial loads than deep groove ball bearings in addition to radial loads. In single-row angular contact ball bearings, the axial load is limited to one side. Double row bearings can withstand loads from both directions.

Versions of angular ball bearings

Single row
Main dimensions according to DIN 628-1. Usable in case of high loads in the radial or axial and single direction. Suitable for high speeds.
Double row
Main dimensions according to DIN 628-3. Usable in case of high loads in the radial or the axial and double direction. Corresponds to the O-arrangement of two single row angular ball bearings, but it is nevertheless narrower. Suitable for high speeds.

Material description of angular ball bearings

Angular ball bearings made of rolling bearing steel
are cost-effective and can withstand very high loads. The bearing steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
Angular ball bearings made of stainless steel
are hygienic, corrosion-resistant (to fresh water), sometimes lubricated with food-grade grease (recognizable by the suffix -GF), magnetic and withstand high loads.
